Encouragement

He Knows Your Name

God is encompassing all that you are going through. He knows your name; do not believe that God has forgotten you, because He has not.

You may feel like everyone is against you. However, the Bible tells us that “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).

The living God will never mismanage your life. This belief sustained me even in my formative years. I simply knew that God would not mismanage my life. Our lives are exceedingly precious to Him. Hold onto God; He will never abandon you or forsake you. Nobody said the journey would be easy—the Bible acknowledges that challenges are inevitable—but God has promised to be with you through it all.

Have a Conversation with Your Maker

If your children are not performing well in school, communicate with Him. He knows, yet He merely desires you to converse with Him. Have a conversation with your Maker; I find great solace in simply conversing with Him.

If your siblings are struggling and you feel burdened—perhaps because you are the eldest or the only one succeeding among them—talk to Him. He listens! If you believe that God has abandoned you, reflect on the story of Job. Job lost everything—his health, home, children, and friends. Perhaps you are currently jobless; know that God is orchestrating things for you behind the scenes. He will bring it to fruition.

Strength for the Valley

Deuteronomy 41:6 (similar to 31:6) admonishes us to be strong and courageous; we should not be afraid or terrified, for it is the Lord your God who goes with us. Psalm 23:4 reassures us that even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil, for God is with us. His rod and staff comfort us.

Consider Naomi, who experienced devastating loss (Ruth 1:20). She left her homeland empty-handed, feeling forsaken. However, God had a plan. He placed Ruth in her life, ultimately leading to Naomi’s inclusion in the lineage of Jesus Christ.

Consider Esther—her entire race faced opposition, yet God orchestrated a reversal of fortunes for them. I pray that for anyone gathering against you—in your family, career, or ministry—the hand of God will come against them, and their plans shall be thwarted.

Moving Beyond Betrayal

Jesus, our perfect example, was betrayed by someone from His inner caucus. The pain must have been unimaginable. Have you ever considered how much more painful it is when betrayal comes from those closest to you? If Jesus could be betrayed, we must ask ourselves: if it happened to Him, can we not also endure it?

If you have experienced betrayal, forgive and move forward. Do not allow trivial matters to weigh you down. God watches over you diligently; you are the apple of His eye. He comprehends every thought in your mind.

A Prayer for Your Rest

Today, I pray for you. Your time has come, and God is working on your behalf. Your prayers will be answered in Jesus’ name.

I urge you to open your heart to Him today. He stands at the door, patiently waiting. Cast your burdens upon Him, and He will grant you rest—complete rest. Remember, He knows your name. Copy that, and take comfort.
